The National Informatics Centre has released the NIC Scientist B Provisional Select List for the written examination on the official website. The candidates whose names are on the result sheet can appear for the interview process which will be the next stage of the selection process. You need to have the following Educational Qualifications to be eligible to apply for the NIC 2021 Exam. Read below to know all about the Eligibility Criteria for Scientist and Scientific/Technical Assistant 2021:

Candidates must have Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor in Technology or Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer B-Level or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers or Graduate Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers or Master Degree in Science or Master Degree in Computer Application or Master Degree in Engineering/Technology or Master Degree in Philosophy in any one of the below-mentioned fields-

For the post of Scientist there will be two phases of the selection

  1. Written Exam
  2. Interview
    • A total of 120 Objective type questions will be asked in the written examination.
    • The time duration will be 3 hours for the written test.
    • 78 questions will be of Technical Area & 42 questions from Generic Area.
    • One mark will be allotted for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Step 1: You have to register yourself through Email-ID.

Step 2: Enter the required details in the application form.

Step 3: Use a valid email ID that should be kept active till the declaration of results.

Step 4: You should keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per requirements mentioned in the Official Notification.

Step 5: After filling all the details, pay the Application fee online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Cash Cards/Wallets, etc.

NIC Scientist B Salary 2021
