RPSC RAS 2021 Prelims Result Out. The exam took place on 27th October 2021. The RPSC RAS notification 2021 was out recently and the candidates could apply till 2nd September 2021.  This latest notification was released for a total of 988 vacancies. The vacancies have been released for State Services and Subordinate Services. The RPSC RAS Selection Process is divided into three stages. The first stage is a prelims exam. The candidates who cleared the preliminary exam will then be called for the main exam. The final selection will be made according to the performance in the main exam and viva voce. 

  • The salary structure of all the posts under the Rajasthan Administrative Services is different.
  • A certain number of vacancies have been reserved for the candidates who belong to the TSP areas of the Rajasthan state. 
  • The RPSC RAS 2021 application process will be held online. The Commission was supposed to accept applications between 28th July to 27th August 2021 but the process was postponed due to technical reasons. Later the applications were accepted between 4th August to 2nd September 2021.

RPSC RAS Apply Online 

The step-by-step instructions to apply for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam and to fill the application form are detailed below. Read them before you attempt to fill the application form. 

Step 1: If you have not registered into the database of the commission, create your login ID and password through the SSO portal. 

Step 2: Once you have created your login ID and password, you will find the section of ongoing recruitment. 

Step 3: Select the RPSC RAS recruitment exam and fill the application form with all the details in their respective columns. 

Step 4: Once you have filled all information correctly, you can upload the scanned copies of the required documents. 

Step 5: Check your form again for any mistake or error. Once you are satisfied that all information input is correct, click on submit. 

Step 6: Now you will be redirected to the online payment portal. Pay the application fee through any means desirable. 

Step 7: Once the payment is successful, you can download the application form. 

Step 8: Keep the RPSC RAS application form safe with you as you will require it in the future. 

RPSC RAS Recruitment -Application Fee 

Every applicant needs to pay a certain amount of application fee so that their application form can be submitted successfully. If you fail to pay the application fee in due time, then your application form will be rejected by the commission. Once you pay the RPSC RAS application fee, you should keep its receipt safe with you in case it is required in the future. RPSC RAS Selection Process 

The RPSC RAS selection process includes three stages:

  • Preliminary exam - consists of objective questions and can be held in an online or offline format. 
  • Mains exam - Successful candidates equal to 15 times the total vacancies shall be appearing for the mains exam. The questions in the main exam will be of descriptive type. 
  • Personality Test and Viva-voce - The candidates who are selected after the main exam will then be called for a personality test and viva - voce. This stage also carries marks that will be added to the overall result of the candidate. 

The final selection of the candidate at the post of RPSC Rajasthan Administrative services will be made according to their overall result.

Certificates Needed for Candidate Verification Post Selection 

Once the candidate has cleared all stages of the RPSC RAS selection process, they will have to undergo a document verification process. In this process, they have to submit the original copies of the documents as required by the commission. You will need to prepare the following documents for the document verification process.

RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria 

The RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria include the following points:

  • Age: The age of a candidate when they are applying for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam should lie between 21 and 40 years as of 1st January 2022. Candidates belonging to some categories get relaxation in the upper age limit. These are detailed in the following table.

  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must hold a Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government in consultation with the Commission
  • Experience: This RPSC RAS eligibility criterion is only applicable to the non gazetted employees. They should have completed at least five years of service before they apply for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam.

Paper IV

Personality & Viva-voce Syllabus

Candidates who qualify in the written test of the Main Examination shall be called an interview for a personality test which carries 100 marks. The Commission awards marks in respect of character, personality, physique, etc. Candidates are also tested on knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
However, for selection to the Rajasthan Police Service, candidates having ‘C’ Certificate of N.C.C. shall be given preference. The marks so awarded shall be added to the marks obtained in the written test by each such candidate.

The RPSC RAS exam pattern for the preliminary exam can be understood through the following points. 

  • The maximum marks of the paper are 200 marks. 
  • All the questions are multiple-choice based. 
  • One will get 3 hours to solve the paper. 
  • The marks obtained in the preliminary exam will not be added to the overall result of the candidate.

The RPSC will release the RPSC RAS Result for the State & Sub-ordinate Services on its official website. The result will be out in the form of a merit list.

Step 1. Click on the above given direct result link.
Step 2. The roll numbers of qualified candidates will appear.
Step 3. Find your roll number using CTRL +F.
Step 4. If your number appears, you have been qualified.
Step 5. Alternatively, the candidates can visit the RPSC Official Website and click on the recent result link.
Step 6. Repeat the above steps.

RPSC RAS Cut Off 

The commission has released RPSC RAS cut off marks along with the RPSC RAS result. The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required by a candidate to be selected for the next stage of the selection process. One can find the RPSC RAS cut off marks for both TSP & NON-TSP candidates.

RPSC RAS Admit Card 

The RPSC RAS admit card is released a week before the exam date. The commission uploads the RPSC RAS admit card of each candidate on the official website of the commission. One must carry their admit card to the examination hall as, without it, you will not be permitted to give the examination. To download your RPSC RAS admit card, follow the steps detailed here. 

Step 1. Once you login to the website with the login ID and password, go to the admit card section.
Step 2. There select the RPSC RAS admit card. Check the details on the document once it is displayed on your screen.
Step 3. Download the RPSC RAS admit card and get at least two printouts of the document.

RPSC RAS Answer Key

The RPSC RAS answer key will be released in two stages. The commission first releases a provincial answer key that is open to changes and suggestions. After all the revisions are completed, the Commission will release the RPSC RAS Answer key; one can download the answer key from the Commission's official website. You can use this to calculate your marks and estimate what your RPSC RAS result will be.
