The TNPSC VAO recruitment 2020 comes as a pathway to selection for one of the most prestigious ranks in the commission. TNPSC VAO Recruitment 2020 - Apply Online

  • The TNPSC VAO Recruitment 2020 is expected to begin in June. The portal of registering is open for one month. 
  • One time Registration (OTR) on the official Commission site is necessary before applying to any post. OTR requires a one-time fee of Rs. 150/- and is valid for 5 years from the date of registration. 
  • To register in the OTR, the candidate should have scanned copies of their photo, signature, and required certificates. 
  • The candidates should then create a new dashboard with the User ID and password obtained.
  • Now the candidates can apply to any post using this User ID and password. 
  • Candidates are requested to keep a scanned copy of their photos, signature, and required documents to apply for the different posts available on the commission's site. 
  • The online application requires the candidates to submit details like Name of the Applicant, Educational qualifications, Communal Category, Date of Birth, Gender, Address, Email ID, Centre of Examination, Government employee, etc.

Step 1 : Go to the TNPSC website,
Step 2 : Go through the OTR process and obtain your User ID and password

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST, Differently Abled and Destitute Widows, BC, and Ex-Servicemen are fully exempted from the fees. 

TNPSC VAO Recruitment 2020 Selection Process

The TNPSC VAO Exam 2020 consists of a single OMR based paper that has 3 sections,

  • General Studies
  • Aptitude and Mental Ability Test
  • General Tamil/ General English

The paper is of 300 marks and has to be completed in 3 hours. After qualifying in the written exam, candidates would be called for document verification and counselling, after which the allotment of ranks and departments will depend on the vacancies as per the district and categories of the candidates.

Educational Qualification: 

The TNPSC VAO Exam 2020 requires candidates to possess a minimum general education qualification. The candidates must have passed the SSLC public exam or any equivalent exam with eligibility for admissions to Higher Secondary courses.

TNPSC VAO Recruitment Exam Pattern 2020

The TNPSC VAO Exam consists of a written test which is of 300 marks. The exam has 200 questions from 3 subjects, which are General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test, and General English/ General Tamil. The paper duration is 3 hours, and the exam can be given in either English or Tamil language. Candidates qualifying in the written exam are called in for online document verification and further counselling.
